Small things = big differences (fixed prosthetics)
The success of prosthetic reconstruction is based on a thoughtful blend of personal skills with the offer of modern technology. The dentist is often confronted with an overwhelming influx of new information to apply to his or her practice, while at the same time fearing failure and setbacks. The author will point out critical points in modern prosthodontics such as vertical preparation concepts, the use of anatomical Zir crowns or the application of self-adhesive cements. Protocols will be presented for quick orientation amidst the barrage of controversial information.
