Bacteria under the microscope of an endodontist: practical tips to increase the success of endodontic treatment in routine practice
Abstract
The dentist’s fight with bacteria is the turning point of endodontic treatment and decides its success or failure.
In battle, it is essential to know the characteristics, tactics and hiding places of the enemy well and prepare a strategic plan to eliminate him accordingly.
In the lecture, I will therefore try to summarize the mentioned attributes of bacteria as our main challenger, we will look together at how we can proceed tactically in order to minimize their chances of success and increase ours. The fight against bacteria is difficult: it requires time, precision, commitment and training of the dentist, but the combination of following the right intervention’s principles and adequate indication brings positive results in the overwhelming majority of cases.
We have already acquired a considerable amount of information about the endomicrocosm, I look forward to being able to share it with you and I believe that it will help to make your endodontic treatment more predictable and win as many of your daily battles with bacteria as possible.
