Andrea Ricci was born on October 11, 1971, in Florence, Italy, where he currently resides and practices dentistry. He is an Italian citizen.

After earning his degree in Dentistry from the University of Perugia in 1995, he pursued advanced training in the United States, attending the postgraduate 3-year program in Prosthodontics at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles from 1996 to 1999. There, he received a Certifi cate in Advanced Prosthodontics, which provided a solid foundation for managing complex cases on both natural dentition and implants, and helped shape a systematic, interdisciplinary clinical approach. He is fully licensed to practice dentistry in Italy, where he has been practicing continuously.

Andrea is a member of the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry (AARD) since 2007, where he has had the honor of delivering two lectures: one as part of the Academy’s offi cial scientifi c program and a second as an honorary lecture. In Europe, he currently serves as President-Elect of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED) where he is an Active Member since 2007.. Within the Academy, he is involved in several committees, particularly those focused on the professional development of Affi liate Members and the Media Section, promoting the EAED mission to colleagues worldwide.

Andrea began his international speaking career in 2004. Since then, he has been a featured speaker at numerous congresses and hands-on courses across Europe, the United States, the Middle East, and Asia. His lectures address advanced topics in esthetic prosthetic rehabilitation, implant and periodontal surgery, interdisciplinary treatment planning, digital workfl ows, and computerized functional diagnosis. He is particularly known for his expertise in Digital Smile Design and is a recognized opinion leader in the fi eld, also serving as a certifi ed DSD Clinic partner.

He is the founder of a private educational company based in Italy that organizes theoretical and practical courses for dentists and dental technicians, both on-site and online. He collaborates with several leading implant companies and with innovative tech fi rms specializing in 3D printing, facial scanning, and functional digital diagnostics. In this context, he has contributed to the clinical validation and development of advanced solutions for modern dental practice.

Throughout his career, Andrea has combined clinical work with a deep commitment to continuing education and personal development. Since 2013, he has been on a journey of growth in the fi elds of leadership and personal mastery, attending the Roberto Re Leadership School in Italy, completing advanced coaching programs, and studying Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) with Robert Dilts and Alessandro Mora. These experiences have greatly influenced his clinical and educational approach, integrating relational and communication skills into professional practice.

Andrea is currently developing a new international project titled “Become an Alchemist”, a transformational educational journey that blends clinical training with personal growth and professional self-awareness. The project brings together high-level professionals in an
authentic, peer-based learning environment, moving beyond traditional teaching hierarchies to foster a deeper, human-centered leadership. Key topics include team management, communication, personal vision, identity, and achieving balance between
personal and professional life.

Through his integrated approach and his ability to combine clinical excellence with technology and emotional intelligence, Andrea has become a respected and influential voice in contemporary dental education, in Italy and worldwide.
