Fruits of the Digital Revolution: Third Dentition, AI Assistants, and 4D Materials in Orthodontics, Regenerative, and Forensic Dentistry
Abstract
This 30-minute lecture explores cutting-edge technologies shaping the future of digital dentistry. It will highlight molecular therapies aimed at the regeneration of a „third dentition,“ the application of Graphy’s 4D materials in orthodontics for more adaptive and efficient treatment, and the integration of advanced AI assistants that enhance clinical management, education, and patient communication. Innovations and clinical workflows will be illustrated through real-world examples of digital transformation in dental practice.

BIO
He was born in 1980 in Bratislava.
He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Comenius University in Bratislava with a degree in Dentistry (2006), where he currently works at the Clinic of Stomatology and Maxillofacial Surgery, as well as at the Center for Simulation and Virtual Medical Education. He is a certified forensic expert in the field of Healthcare and Pharmacy, specializing in Dentistry, and serves as a member of the Board of Trustees at Comenius University in Bratislava.
He completed his PhD in Dentistry, focusing on the implementation of digital systems in orthodontics. In 2009, he obtained his first specialization in Dentistry, followed by a second specialization in Orthodontics (Maxillofacial Orthopedics) in 2012. He earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in 2013 and a Master of Health Administration (MHA) in 2014. In 2022, he habilitated (Associate Professor) at the Faculty of Medicine, Comenius University in Bratislava.
His most notable international study visits include a professional internship in 2009 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA, under the mentorship of the renowned Professor William R. Proffit, and an Erasmus study placement at the Faculty of Medicine, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore at Gemelli University Hospital in Rome, Italy (2005).
His professional experience includes work with the British Council and the Academic Library of the Faculty of Medicine at Comenius University. He is the founder of the specialized dental clinic Sangre azul, the medical technology company 3Dent Medical, and the Professional Society for Innovation in Medicine. He is also the co-founder and founding president of the Slovak Society for Regenerative Medicine, and the recipient of the prestigious ITAPA eGovernment Leader Award (2006).
He was the first in Slovakia to design and deliver stereoscopic 3D lectures in the teaching of medical students in the subject of orthodontics, and to introduce 3D printing into both clinical practice and the education of dental and general medical students. In the field of orthodontics, he is a pioneer in Slovakia of „invisible braces“ and artificial intelligence, both of which he was the first to implement into practice and which are now routinely used in clinical and research settings.
Beyond this paradigm shift in orthodontics, he leads a multidisciplinary team of passionate experts focused on advancing the application of 3D printing and artificial intelligence in medical practice.
